From Passengers to Drivers: Women Investing in Life Sciences Breakfast

​To mark Women’s History Month, Diversity VC, Invest in Equity, and Borski Fund are hosting a small, invite-only breakfast bringing together GPs, LPs, and ecosystem partners investing across life sciences.

​Rather than a traditional panel, this will be a discussion-led session designed to create space for a more honest and participatory conversation.

​At its core, this conversation is about shifting women from passengers to drivers – not just participating in the system, but shaping how it operates.

​We’ll open with a short framing of key examples – from historical gaps in research and clinical trials to the ongoing underrepresentation of women in investment and R&D leadership – and then move into facilitated small-group discussions.

​The goal is to move beyond surface-level dialogue toward:

• ​sharing real experiences from across the ecosystem

• ​identifying the structural barriers that continue to shape outcomes

• ​surfacing concrete actions within our own spheres of influence

​This is a curated, off-the-record conversation for those actively shaping capital allocation and decision-making in life sciences.
