Changemakers in Aging: Kickoff Event

​No matter how you feel about that… NO fear, because Changemakers in Aging is building a better future for aging in America and YOU can be a part of it too. (*cue the confetti*)

​Wanna join us? Log on for the inaugural Changemakers in Aging (CIA) kickoff Zoom on April 30th at 6pm ET/3 PM PT. 💫 Changemakers in Aging brings together students (high school, college, graduate) and emerging professionals aspiring to be visionaries in the aging field through biomedical advances, policy and/or legal reform, clinical medicine, intergenerational social impact, you name it!

​We’ll break it down as to why this work matters right now for young leaders, where the biggest gaps (and opportunities) are, and how you can be part of shaping the future of care, policy, and innovation in aging. Programming will include an introduction to CIA (an incredibly cool acronym, we know!), our guiding roadmap and policy platform, as well as an introduction to our annual November summit in partnership with the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). This is a collaborative space - we are looking for emerging leaders who are ready to rethink what aging can look like, and to build a meaningful movement, together.

​Whether you’re into wet-lab research, age-tech, run of the mill advocacy, startups, or local civic action, we’ll share ways to get involved and start building with us. We’ll wrap with breakout rooms + open networking so you can meet people, swap ideas, and find your place within CIA. 

​If you’re trying to do something in the aging space, THIS is the place to be.

​And if you’re in school and deep in midterms or finals prep (sigh, we get it)… consider this your sign to take a study break and come hang with us for a bit.
