Logistics and how to get there from Barcelona
📍 Location: Calella de Mar Beach, Maresme.
📍 Meeting point: Monument to the Sardana, on the Passeig de Manuel Puigvert, a few meters from the train exit (opposite the seafront promenade)
(We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to start on time).
🚆 Arriving by train from Barcelona:
Take the R1 line of the Rodalies de Catalunya commuter rail towards Maresme (Blanes/Maçanet-Massanes). This line runs along the coast from Barcelona to Calella and other towns in the Maresme region.
You can catch the train from Barcelona Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, or Clot-Aragó.
The journey takes approximately 1–1.5 hours to Calella station (trains run about every 30 minutes).
👣 From Calella train station to the meeting point (5-minute walk):
Exit the station and head towards the sea (Passeig de Manuel Puigvert).
Walk along the promenade parallel to the beach until you find the Monument to the Sardana, an iconic sculpture located right on the promenade.
We will meet there, in a circle, from 9:15 a.m. onwards to welcome you and walk together to the nudist beach.
What to bring
Large towel or sarong to sit/lie down on the sand.
Umbrella.
Water and a light breakfast before or after the circle. Avoid heavy meals right before the practice (if you can fast the morning, even better).
Sunscreen, a hat, and, if you wish, a scarf to cover up at times.
Optional: notebook and pen to write down insights after the gathering.
Nudity will be part of the ritual, but always with conscious consent and respect for each person's timing.
