​Kick things off with the POLKU Opening, an EXPO with markets, try-it stations and demonstrations, inspiring talks, a panel discussion and hands-on workshops , including From Code to Company by Tangintly.

​💡 23 September — Karelia UAS, Wärtsilä

​From Idea to Business

​Turn ideas into action. Hear real Fail Pitches, discover what happens when things don’t go according to plan, and join practical workshop, including Vibecode Your First App or Website in 90 Minutes by Andrei Potekhin.

​Explore the Opportunities EXPO with sponsors, student organisations and startup programmes and yes, there’s a Silent Disco too. 🎧

​🧪 24 September — UEF, Carelia

​From Labs to Business

​Discover how research can become real-world impact and companies. The day features a keynote, a From Lab to Business panel, interactive activities, games and the Stay on Track workshop by Jenni Meesit.

​🎉 25 September — Joensuun Hub

​POLKU Celebration

​We’re ending the week with a proper celebration. Expect Wolf’s Den, special speakers, Taco’bout, Kahoot, Golden Tickets, games, prizes and the big Winners Announcement.

​Then the night continues with the POLKU Afterparty — Disco & Karaoke. 🪩🎤
