10-day "Not a bother" Platonic Connection Group Challenge
The prerequisite for joining this challenge is to read or listen to my blog post: You are not a bother.
During this 10-day Challenge: We will commit to “bothering” 😉 friends and neighbors with friendly hellos and/or invitations to get together.
Your challenge, should you choose to accept it: Letting go of the idea that you're bothering your friends and neighbors when you reach out to connect with them.
Choose your own adventure: You can focus on connecting with friends, neighbors, or both. You can choose to do one action, ten actions, or as many actions as you can fit into the 10-day window.
Why you should sign up: Sure, you could do this by yourself, or procrastinate on it for months and take no action. But c’mon. That’s not the life story you want to tell. So join me and other friendly We Should Get Together readers to have a little group accountability together. It’ll be lightweight and fun. I’ll run a short opening session and a closing session so you can connect with other people doing the challenge alongside you. The most important thing is that you say YES!
If you’ve been holding yourself back from:
Inviting an acquaintance or friend to hang out
Introducing yourself to neighbors
Reconnecting with an old friend
Reaching out to anyone for any platonic-connection reason
… then this is for you!
You can hop into the challenge at any point between now and Friday August 22 at 3pm PT.
Replay: Registered participants get the replay which will be available to rewatch for ten days.
Dates and times:
📅 Kickoff: Friday August 22 from 3-4pmPT / 6-7pm ET
📅 Closing: Sunday August 31 from 5-6pm PT / 8-9pm ET
