Haus Lunch with John Knox
Every Friday at Haus Lunch, one of our founders or leaders shares openly about how God is shaping their work and how He's shaping them as a person. We share the real, in-progress story, not the pitch-perfect version.
Raised in San Diego in a family of church planters, legal professionals, and entrepreneurs, John Knox draws on his Scottish, Spanish-Basque, and Native American heritage to inform his worldview. After moving to the Bay Area, John studied Global Policy and Cultural Psychology at UC Berkeley and was selected to work in the CDIR Lab in collaboration with UC Berkeley School of Law. Following graduation, he built a career spanning strategy consulting, enterprise customer success, and AI implementations.
Today, John is the Founder and CEO of Medrano Partners, an AI-native strategy consulting and technology firm serving businesses, nonprofits, ministries, and churches. The firm helps organizations navigate emerging technologies through advisory, training, responsible AI adoption, custom solutions, and full-stack systems transformations.
John also co-founded CW3 Global, a global technology ethics nonprofit equipping faith leaders and communities to engage emerging technologies with wisdom and purpose. A sought-after speaker on technology ethics, he has presented at Google, Missional AI, the National Prayer Breakfast, Digital Missions conferences, and Swiss Bible summits. With 14 years of experience traveling, volunteering, and consulting throughout Asia, he brings a global perspective and a passion for building bridges and connecting people across sectors.
