About the Evening
Vintage: the harvest year that defines a wine. The founding year that defines a fund. Both are judged the same way, by what they become over time. Tonight, we explore the ideal qualities in both.
Black Women Investors Network (BWI), in partnership with JPMorgan, Laurent-Perrier, and Virtual With Us, invites you to a private wine and champagne education dinner.
An evening in wine etiquette, vocabulary, and tasting, for leaders fluent in wealth and legacy.
Programming Lead:
The experience will be led by Alexandra Schrecengost, wine educator and CEO, who will guide guests through a structured tasting curriculum covering terroir, craftsmanship, and the etiquette of service and conversation, featuring curated Laurent-Perrier selections.
The Evening Will Include:
A guided, curriculum-based wine and champagne tasting
Instruction in dining and wine etiquette: ordering, tasting, and pairing with authority
The vocabulary and sensory framework to discuss wine with precision
Educational storytelling on terroir, craftsmanship, and legacy
A dedicated Laurent-Perrier champagne tasting moment
A seated dinner experience
Peer-to-peer relationship building

The BWI Supper Club Series is an invite-only series of intimate convenings for high-trust conversation and meaningful connection among investors, founders, and thought leaders.
