Most people trying to break into venture capital run into the same problem: They need investment experience to be taken seriously...whether you're trying to get a job at a VC fund or want to raise capital from investors to launch your own investor syndicate or fund. You need a track record, but you need someone to give you a seat at the table before you can get that investment experience.

That's why we created Venture University, where you join an active VC fund, get educated and trained by making real investments with real capital. VU has now graduated over 1,000+ global alumni across 50+ cohorts.

This upcoming webinar is designed for aspiring investors, emerging fund managers, angel investors, family offices, fund-of-funds, founders, industry experts, corporate innovators, and undergraduate / MBA students, who want to build their venture capital and private equity skillset, gain hands-on investment experience, and explore whether a career in venture capital and private equity is the right fit.

During the session, we’ll walk through Venture University’s upcoming program options:

1-Week VC/PE Masterclass:
An intensive investor education program covering the fundamentals of venture capital and private equity, including deal sourcing, due diligence, investment evaluation, portfolio construction, and more.

11-Week Venture Capital Investor Accelerator:
A full investor education and training program that combines:

Investor Education

  • One-week VC/PE Masterclass

  • 16+ Advanced VC/PE Modules

  • Fireside Chats with investors, founders, and industry leaders

Investment Apprenticeship

  • Join the investment team of a top-tier VC fund

  • Source, evaluate, and present investment opportunities at Partner Meetings and the Investment Committee

  • Make up to 7 investments per quarter

  • Receive a profit sharing agreement tied to investments made during the program

Graduate:

  • REVERSE DEMO DAY: Present the thesis, due diligence completed, and return potential for the selected investments

  • Graduation Trip: Enjoy a fun bonding graduation trip with your cohort

  • Earn 3 certificates for completing the program

Who You Learn From: Participants in Venture University's one-week Venture Capital Masterclass and VU's full 11-week Venture Capital Investor Accelerator have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside VU's fund managers who have invested $2B+, backed 30+ unicorns, have achieved 20+ multi-billion-dollar exits, and supported many more companies that have achieved exits of $250M–$1B.

Location: Individuals can join the program either in person from one of VU’s five global offices — San Francisco, Munich, Burgas, São Paulo, or Hong Kong — or virtually from anywhere.

Time Commitment: Full-time (40 hr per week) or Part-time (20 hrs per week)

Webinar Agenda: We’ll also cover the cohort schedule, admissions process, program structure, expected outcomes, and how to apply.

Whether you’re looking to break into venture capital, become a stronger angel investor, launch a fund, or gain real-world investment experience, this session will help you understand the best path forward.
