Conversations with Modern Stoicism with Brigid Delaney
Join us for a fascinating conversation with Brigid Delaney, author, columnist, and Netflix producer, as she shares her hard-won insights on introducing Stoicism to audiences who showed up expecting something entirely different.
From book festivals to speaking engagements where people might be bracing for standup comedy, Delaney has navigated the delicate art of making ancient philosophy relevant and compelling to everyday people who never asked for a lecture on Marcus Aurelius. In this virtual event with Modern Stoicism, she'll reveal what actually works when you're facing a crowd that doesn't know they need Stoicism yet, drawing from her experience writing Reasons Not to Worry and translating philosophical wisdom into accessible, practical guidance.
Whether you're a philosophy teacher, a curious practitioner, or simply someone who's ever wondered how to share what matters to you without sounding preachy, Delaney's perspective on meeting people where they are and gently opening doors to ancient wisdom promises to be both entertaining and genuinely useful.
