the Sapphic Sidequest Social series - a fun, low stakes way to try out a new hobby with other sapphic+ folks based in South Bay. let's be gay and mediocre together 😀🌈 🆗
new to running? tryna get some easy cardio in for the weekend??
back by popular demand, your mediocre run club is a Sapphice Sidequest Social where sapphics can meet new friends and run (or walk/jog as needed!) <2 miles together. 🏃🏽♀️ we'll aim to finish under 30min! no running experience needed ✨
we'll have two pace groups - one for those who want to run the whole thing (still at a v chill pace), and a second for those who want to jog and walk as needed.
😎 what to wear/bring:
wear breathable/athletic clothing and running shoes! shorts, hats and sunglasses recommended as it'll be warm
don't forget to put on sunscreen!
if needed, bring an easy to carry water bottle, but note there is a water station at Nirvana Soul you can grab water at before and after the run
any fitness bands or trackers you'd like to turn on for the run
Schedule
9:00-9:15 AM: Meetup in front of Nirvana Soul
9:15 AM: Welcome circle + warm up
9:30 AM: Run start; get to know some other sapphic+ folks through a few icebreaker questions on the run!
9:50ish AM: Run finish + post-run circle for community announcements
10:00 AM: Social hour @ Nirvana Soul
