Exited Pure Mathematicians + Physics Profs building Lean for Science; LOI with CERN
A physics professor with an h-index > 64 and a successful exit (science ontology startup); a multiple Kaggle gold champion + youngest physics professor at the Niels Bohr Institute, and an exited serial entrepreneur who is also a pure mathematician by training. They’re building the world's largest scientific hypergraph (LEANUS; the Lean for science) scaling verification beyond what AxiomMath (€1.5B) can offer. LOI with CERN (who spend $500M+/year on verification).
College-dropouts Building European Sovereignty; $2M ARR in 5 months
A team of young prodigies and university drop-outs who, amongst many things, rebuilt Stripe functionality on European sovereignty, just to create the only company in the world offering AI token inference, with complete European sovereignty (both Mistral & Langdock cannot offer this). Scaled to $2M ARR in 5 months after launch. First team to integrate all big open-weight models into an open orchestration framework. We’re so bullish that Paul Müller (sold Adjust for $1bn & now an EWOR Partner) recently joined as Executive Chairman and is bringing in his ex-Adjust crew to further accelerate growth.
Eastern European Wunderkinder Challenging Incumbents With New Infra AI Lab
An Eastern European wunderkind who built a student-school matching engine at 16 and bootstrapped it to 180K users before turning 18, turning it into the biggest site for student-school matching in the country (20% national market share). His co-founder is a self-taught Researcher & CTO with over 8 years in Computer Science. After reading 60 AI/ML books in a year, he built an alternative AI architecture to GPT in 2024 and two reactive frameworks with the world's #1 and #10 performance. He’s also published research that was recognised as a Top 10 Daily Paper on Hugging Face, and at the Top 1000 Innovators Conference at Stanford University. Together they’ve invented a completely new model architecture, backed by the inventor of AI reasoning (at OpenAI). They are at 77% of SOTA today on ~$100k of compute, latest generation up 27%; their bet is to build a completely new AI lab.
