Here & Now is Kanso's flagship phone-free social experience.
part guided facilitation, part free-flow, designed around the neuroscience of real human connection.
we're hosting at a modern Italian chophouse in the Flatiron District. music sits at the heart of the space, over 1,000 vinyl records and a world-class K-array Italian sound system, born in Tuscany and built to fill every corner of the room with rich, immersive sound.
for our night together, we'll be play vibey, ambient music low in the background, just enough to set the mood and let real conversation take the lead.
you'll arrive, check in your phone, and receive The Present - a small kit with everything you need to have a great phone-free experience (journal, pen, conversation prompts etc).
the opening is structured. you'll get paired up with someone new for a real, ten-minute conversation, then again with someone different. enough time to cut past the BS and actually get to know someone.
then the room opens up for deep conversation. the night takes its own shape from there and closes out together.
all guests leave with at least one person they're actually excited to see again and as one past guest put it best: "seriously a life changing experience, thank you for creating a space like this to exist!"
who's in the room
Ambitious, growth-minded people who care deeply about how they spend their time and who they spend it with. They're actively investing in their career, health, and relationships, they recognize the pull of their tech habits, and they're after a night of pure presence.
All ages welcome, although most guests fall into their 20s–40s.
let us be clear...this is not a networking event. it's a place to be human again.
