Meet the Funder 1-1's
You can register your interest in a 1-1 chat with Marie Korde - General Partner and Co-Founder of Two Magnolias VC and Will Chappel, Managing Partner - Palatine Growth Credit Fund, as part of our Meet the Funder series in partnership with British Business Bank & Barclays Eagle Labs. This event is in collaboration with Fintech Wales.
These will be 30-minute (in person only) 1-1 sessions held in the afternoon where you can chat with Marie or Will about your business directly.
Spaces will be limted so please fill out as much information as you can possible when registering your interest so the funders can make the most informed decision when allocating spaces.
If you are not selected for a 1-1 there will still be plenty of time to chat to both Marie and Will after the fireside chat and email introductions can still be made via Lizzie - just let her know on the day!
If selected, you will be contacted about a specific time for your session a week before the event.
Maries bio:
Marie is the General Partner and Co-Founder of Two Magnolias VC, an impact fund dedicated to investing in the transformational economy and human health-focused startups. The fund aims to diversify and create a more equitable flow of capital and optimise returns by investing in underrepresented founders with a regional lens. Marie, and her Co-Founder, Jessica Rasmussen are currently raising a £50m Fund 2 to expand their impact and reach. Before founding Two Magnolias VC, Marie built an extensive 20-year career in financial markets, working with prominent European asset managers and esteemed global top tier banks in various trading and sales roles.
Wills bio:
Will Chappel leads the Palatine Growth Credit Fund, launched in 2024 to support fast-growing, venture-backed tech companies across the UK regions. The Fund provides growth credit to B2B technology businesses in sectors such as cyber, fintech, SaaS, healthtech, AI, and advanced manufacturing.
With over 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking and Fund Management - including 15 years in Technology and Growth Credit - Will works closely with founders to accelerate growth, expand sustainably, and reduce shareholder dilution. Since launch, the Fund has completed nine investments, helping fuel innovation across the UK.
