Festive Hacks: Win a Trip to Berlin
Festive Hacks is a one-day, in-person hackathon by WeMakeDevs and WeAreDevelopers, held on the floor of WeAreDevelopers Conference India at BIEC, Bengaluru on November 25.
The winning team gets a fully sponsored VIP trip to Berlin for WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2027 in July, one of the biggest developer conferences in Europe, with flights, stay, passes and all expenses covered. Second place takes ₹2,00,000 in cash and third takes ₹1,00,000.
This is an application. Seats on the floor are limited, so we read every application and pick who hacks with us. Everyone we accept gets a free pass to WeAreDevelopers Conference India for both days, November 25 and 26. You can hack solo or in a team of up to 4, but every member of the team has to apply and be accepted.
The brief: pick one real problem from the festive season, like wedding planning, gifting, getting home for the holidays or surviving a December budget, and build something that actually works. There are no tracks, so the best project wins. Kunal Kushwaha, Hitesh Choudhary and Saiyam Pathak are judging.
On the day: check-in opens at 8:00 AM, hacking runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the winners are announced on stage at 6:00 PM. Bring your laptop and charger.
Travel and stay are your own to arrange, so only apply if you can be in Bengaluru on November 25.
If you’re not accepted, you can still attend the conference for ₹999 instead of ₹10,000 with code WEMAKEDEVS999 at tickets.sarvarth.com, while the limited tickets last.
