​Bridges Over Basel (BOB) brings together PhD students, postdocs and life-sciences professionals to explore careers beyond academia. For our fourth edition, we turn to the world of venture capital: the investors and company-builders who turn scientific discoveries into companies. Three leading figures from Basel's VC scene will share how they made the move from science into investing, what the work involves day to day, and what they look for in the founders and scientists they back.
