About Event
Begin your Walktober with Crosstown Trail founder Bob Siegel, as we walk the first half of the original Crosstown Trail. From Candlestick Park, we'll walk about 10 miles through the Visitacion Valley Greenway, McLaren Park, the Bernal Cut, the Burnside mural and tiled stairway, Glen Canyon, and Laguna Honda. Finish at Forest Hill Station, with multiple transit connections. Bring layers, water, snacks, and lunch. Join us on October 4 for the second half.

Meet at the start of the Crosstown Trail, in the first parking lot located just after you enter the Candlestick Point State Recreation Area at the Gilman Avenue entrance. The trailhead is to the right of the small kiosk. We recommend hailing a ride to reach the start, using the address for the park’s main entrance: 500 Hunters Point Expressway
