​The hungriest of us, fragmenting into fantasy, are curious about how female desire works: its novelty, its nature, the sublime, but mostly how it has morphed and changed from Sappho’s times all the way to the intelligence age & algorithmic awareness.

​What does female desire look like today, both as a theme and a structure? Is it ambivalent or direct? Does it get flattened online or expressed more freely? More importantly, is it still sacred, and has it ever been?

​In this online talk, I aim to answer all the above and dissect desire in the ephemeral digital through my favorite literature, media, and pop culture, from Anne Carson to Caroline Polachek. Probably the only online event where you’ll get both. Just saying.
