Agency Leader Breakfast. Selling GEO: How to price, package and deliver AI Search (profitably).
Client demand for AI search visibility has arrived faster than any consensus on the commercial model to serve it. The result is confusion - how do we capture the opportunity, without hurting our credibility by chasing a hype cycle?
In that confusion, no settled answer has emerged on basic questions: what to charge, what's in scope, or who delivers it. The result is bad client outcomes, missed opportunity for agencies and often, business won by the most bullish agency not the most credible or capable.
We'll (very briefly) share the findings of our recent research report into the topic (which we would also love if you'd contribute to, if you haven't already), but this is not a presentation. It's a chance for agency owners and commercial directors to discuss, network, learn eat a delicious brekkie, load up on caffeine and then go about our respective days.
It'll be an open conversation, but some key topics include:
Pricing: retainer, project, add-on or performance-linked - how do you make it appealing while protecting your margin?
Delivery economics: what does it cost to deliver GEO well, and how do you build the expertise without carrying headcount you can't keep utilised?
Positioning: how do you win against agencies making bigger claims than you're willing to make?
Reporting: what are you reporting to clients, and does it survive a renewal conversation?
Tooling: is it worth it building proprietary tooling in house?
Chatham House Rule applies. We know agencies don't hand over their playbooks, but this only works if people come to listen, engage and share.
