Fides Entrepreneurship Dinner with John Studzinski
Welcome to Fides Entrepreneurship! (Sign Up Here to Our Newsletter)
On September 24th at our candlelit seated dinner, we are honored to welcome John Studzinski CBE KSG as our special guest speaker. John is the founder of the Genesis Foundation and Arise Foundation, co-founder of the UK based The Passage, and author of A Talent for Giving: Creating a More Generous Society That Benefits Everyone.
A distinguished financier and philanthropist, John was born in Massachusetts but has long been based in both New York and London. Throughout his career, he has combined leadership in global finance with an unwavering commitment to philanthropy, focusing particularly on the arts, human rights, homelessness, and volunteerism.
John is the Founder and Chairman of the Genesis Foundation, which has supported and nurtured emerging artistic talent across the United Kingdom for more than two decades. He is also Co-Founder of The Passage, the UK’s largest resource center for people experiencing homelessness, and Founding President of Arise, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking and modern slavery. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Benjamin Franklin House Museum and sits on the Board of the J. Paul Getty Trust.
Alongside his philanthropic work, John has enjoyed a distinguished career in financial services spanning more than 40 years. He is currently Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the global investment management firm PIMCO and has previously held senior leadership roles at Blackstone, HSBC Group, and Morgan Stanley.
John’s witness speaks to a deeper reality: clarity of belief creates clarity of action. In a world marked by ambiguity, faith becomes an anchor—not retreating from responsibility, but orienting it.
At Fides, John will share:
Why faith must be core, not cosmetic, in professional life
How daily spiritual discipline sharpens discernment and responsibility
What it means to live Catholic identity across cultures and continents
How capital, charity, and beauty can serve the human person together
Why leadership today requires moral clarity more than ever
