About Event

For the people who run the games behind the games.

Hosted by ReadyM, with Overwolf/Tebex, and Nodecraft as co-hosts, Build, Host, Own is an event designed for the operators, builders, and creators who power the internet's most vibrant gaming communities: server owners, multiplayer modders, and the people building around them.

The ReadyM team will be on the ground for something we've been sitting on for a while - and GDC is where we're finally letting it out of the room. We're revealing our next game multiplayer mod, and later with it, the full EA launch of the ReadyM Creators SDK: the toolset that lets server owners and modders build entirely custom game modes, mechanics, and worlds from the ground up.

The event is intentionally informal. No keynotes, no panels, no pitch decks - just an open bar, good food, and a room full of people who speak the same language. A rare chance during GDC week to step off the conference floor and connect with peers who are actually running things: communities, servers, mods, and the economies built on top of them.

If you've ever hosted a server, shipped a mod, or built a creator community around a game - this room is for you.

Attendance is limited. Submitting a registration request does not guarantee a spot. Confirmations will be sent ahead of the event!

Joining us on the night, Tebex - the leading monetization and payments infrastructure for game server owners, will be available to talk on how top operators are building their communities, and what the next generation of server economy tools looks like. And if you're thinking about infrastructure, our co-host Nodecraft brings years of experience powering serious game servers at scale, and will be there to talk hosting, operations, and what it actually takes to run a community server as a real business.
