​This second installment of our Personal Finance series moves beyond the basics to focus on how to invest with intention, efficiency, and confidence. We’ll explore how to build and optimize an investment portfolio, assess opportunities critically, and make smarter decisions with the assets you already have.

​Whether you attended Part 1 or are joining us for the first time, this session is designed to help you move from understanding to execution with clarity, structure, and a long-term lens.

​Many women begin investing but feel unsure if they’re doing it well. Questions around diversification, ETFs, dividends, stock selection, and “too-good-to-be-true” offers can quickly lead to second-guessing or inaction.

You’ll learn how to evaluate investment options, align strategy with your goals, and optimize what you already have, without needing to become an expert or constantly monitor the markets.

​About the Speaker

​Laura is a finance graduate from the John Molson School of Business and has spent over a decade helping individuals better understand their money and feel confident in their financial decisions. She began her career at BMO Nesbitt Burns and later at RBC Dominion Securities, focusing on investment planning and financial education.

​After returning from maternity leave with a renewed passion for making investing more accessible, Laura completed additional training and earned her Portfolio Manager designation. Today, she is especially committed to helping women build strong financial foundations, ask better questions, and navigate long-term wealth building with clarity and confidence.
