About Event

I’ve been thinking about creating a little space for anyone who has been curious about Architecture of Community, has questions about the journey, or is simply wondering whether this is the right investment of time, energy and resources for them.

So, I’m opening the doors for a free gathering this Wednesday at 12pm EST.

This is not really an information session.

It’s an opportunity for us to meet, for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, to ask whatever questions you might have, and to explore what you are currently noticing, navigating or questioning within your own communities, organizations or systems.

And while this space is open, I am especially inviting people who are actively building or shaping spaces for community.

  • Maybe you are building a new community, organization or initiative.

  • Maybe you are designing spaces where people come together.

  • Maybe you lead a team, a collective or an organization.

  • Maybe you are holding responsibility for how people work, relate, make decisions and belong together.

Or perhaps you are simply someone who keeps finding yourself asking, there has to be another way of doing this

Architecture of Community is a journey into understanding the invisible architecture that shapes the places, communities and systems we are part of.

We begin close to home.

We look at our own micro systems and structures, the relationships, beliefs, patterns, ways of communicating, decision-making, belonging, leadership and power that exist around us, and begin to see how these things ripple outward into the larger systems we participate in.

Because the larger system is not somewhere “out there.”

It is also being created through us, between us and around us.

The intention of this journey is not simply to understand how things are structured, but to begin asking:

What is creating what we are experiencing?

What are we participating in without realizing it?

What could be different?

And how might we begin to reimagine the conditions that allow something else to emerge?

There is structure to the 8-week journey, but there is also room for flow.

And I want to listen.

I want to hear what you are actually bringing into the room, what questions are alive for you, what you are seeking, and what would make this container meaningful and relevant to where you are.

So if you’ve been curious, hesitant, excited, unsure, or simply wanting to understand what Architecture of Community is about, come join me.

Wednesday | 7pm

Free and open to anyone curious about the work.

Come with your questions.
Come with your curiosity.
Or simply come and listen.

I’d love to meet you.
