Now picture a mother there with a lump she's afraid to talk about, or a father whose diabetes has never been diagnosed. The nearest test might be hours away and cost more than a week's wages. So they wait, and too often waiting is what turns a treatable illness into a tragedy.
It doesn't have to be that way.
Swasthgram brings health screening to the last mile, right to people's doorsteps, on our Health Unit on Bike and Health Unit in a Box. We test for cancer, diabetes, liver and kidney disease, and support maternal health. A single screening costs just ₹50 to ₹400, about the price of a coffee here, and it can mean catching a disease early instead of too late.
So far our programs and partners have reached 57 lakh+ people. But there are still millions of people back home whom no one has ever screened.
