CV Field Trip: Pamela Weiss @ Insight Meditation Center + Lunch
🪷 Come join us for a morning of practice and connection at Insight Meditation Center ☸️
This month's field trip has multiple parts. Come join us for one or the whole program!
We'll be starting the day with an optional silent sit from 8:30 to 9:10am.
And then a sit and talk with Pamela Weiss. The meditation starts at 9:25am, and the talk starts at 10:00am.
Followed by a group lunch at a restaurant nearby and time to connect from 11 - 12:30!
🧘♂️ This is a group field trip coordinated by Community Village, to a freely offered event at Insight Meditation Center (IMC) in Redwood City. You can learn more about IMC here. No registration is required, but it is helpful so we can get a sense of numbers 😊
🚙 Carpooling is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community & share experiences :) Join our WhatsApp group to coordinate carpools & connect with other folks attending!
❤️ You can learn more about Pamela Weiss here.
🙏 For the comfort of all participants, we request that you not wear scented products while attending CV field trips (and IMC is also scent-free).
All are welcome. We look forward to sharing the day with you! 😊

What's Community Village?
Community Village is a community-first approach to meditation oriented towards people in their 20s and 30s - and open to ALL (we don’t check IDs! :)). Whether you want to learn how to meditate, or are an experienced practitioner: our intention is to co-create welcoming and supportive environments to build meaningful connections, get inspired and learn how to bring practice into everyday life. We are a peer-led community, co-created by its members. Some come join in!
What's Insight Meditation Center?
The Insight Meditation Center (IMC) is dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhist ideals – mindfulness, ethics, compassion, loving-kindness, and liberation. At the heart of all IMC activities is the practice of Insight Meditation, sometimes called mindfulness or Vipassana meditation. Based on a 2500-year-old Buddhist teaching, this practice helps us to see more deeply and clearly into our lives. With insight, we develop ways of living more peacefully, compassionately, and wisely.
