​Hi there! I’m Anza—a Japanese who grew up in Japan and Belgium, spent over 15 years in the UK, and now calls Spain home. I’m passionate about connecting Japan and Europe by sharing authentic experiences—from food to culture—with anyone curious to explore.

​My love for food naturally led me to sake, and I became a sake sommelier to dive deeper into Japanese traditions and discover the perfect pairings for the dishes I adore. For me, life is all about connection—through food, conversation, and shared discovery.

​Introducing our co-host: Carlos Ruz

​​Hi there, my name is Carlos. I'm a Madrileño by birth right, but a world citizen by heart. I'm a curious adventurer always in search for new ways of understanding life and happiness. I’m that kind of person who’s not defined by their job (people rarely guesses it), I've attempted painting, playing an instrument, graphic design, sports, etc... but my true passions are undoubtly: food and people. Always in for a good bite. Always ready to listen (if I'm not doing the talking).

You will probably always find me surrounded by people having funny and interesting conversations.
