Leadership and Civic Impact Community Potluck
State College has a lot of people trying to make this place better, but they don’t always end up in the same room.
We want to change that for a night.
This potluck will bring together students, community leaders, organizers, educators, people involved in local institutions, and others who have taken on some responsibility for the people around them. We’re also inviting guests from different corners of State College to join us, share some of what they’ve learned, and stick around for dinner.
There’s no conference setup here. We’re hosting this at our house because sitting around a table tends to make for a different kind of conversation.
Bring something to share and pull up a chair. Talk about something you care about. Ask someone how they got involved in what they do. Meet people whose paths through Penn State and State College look nothing like yours.
Hopefully you leave knowing a few more of the people who make this town what it is.
