GW Members-Only Masterclass: It's giving self-directed learning
The World Economic Forum predicts that between 2025 and 2030, 39% of our existing skill sets will be transformed or outdated. That’s nearly half of today’s core skills. Automation and AI are rewriting jobs in real time.
The same good folks are placing creative thinking, resilience, flexibility, agility, curiosity, and lifelong learning on the list of fastest-growing skills by 2023, right after AI, big data, and cybersecurity.
The high-performers of the future won’t be the ones with the most expertise in a single domain but those who can quickly assess the changing landscape and adjust their approach.
HA! But we know that already! We’re generalists, it’s what we do. We bend, and adjust, and flex and never conform.
For our ever-changing form, self-directed, active, life-long learning is somewhat of a superpower.
But how much do we know about it?
How much of your learning process is intentional, versus random? How much in control are you, really?
In this workshop, Anamaria will invite us to place the concept of self-directed learning under the magnifying glass.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
You’ll design your personal learning archetype;
You’ll explore two models that frame self-directed learning;
You’ll pick one and deconstruct something you are currently learning.
Prepare for a hands-on, participatory session, where’re you’l roll up your sleeve and chew on the concepts shared. No rest for the wicked during this session!
