Animal Speaking Event
Learn, discuss, and connect with the EA community
How can we most effectively help the animals - across food systems, research, policy, and emerging technologies?
This question spans many domains: alternative protein innovation, welfare science, corporate and policy advocacy, behavioral change, and ethical decision-making under uncertainty. Navigating this landscape requires not only good intentions, but also evidence, strategic thinking, and collaboration across disciplines.
Effective Altruism Amsterdam invites you to an evening of talks and discussion with multiple speakers who work in cultured meat, political lobby, plant-based agriculture, and vegan activism. Together, we will explore different career paths, what the biggest open challenges are, and how individuals from different academic and professional backgrounds might contribute.
