From function to capability: making sustainability commercially relevant
Description
The external landscape has shifted. The Trump administration. Polarisation across UK and European politics. Moving goalposts on EU regulation. We're in a world of increasing uncertainty, and while sustainability isn't going anywhere, the work is getting harder.
As sustainability professionals, we've built the foundations and set the strategy. There’s now the frameworks, processes, portfolio engagement, and reporting to get on with. The volume of regulation-driven, time-intensive work is impacting our ability to focus on the elements that really shift the dial.
To make sustainability work in this landscape, we need relentless focus on what makes commercial sense - moving from owning the work to enabling it, standardising as we go, and drawing on other teams to deliver.
Groundswell’s co-founders Lucy and Jack will lead a conversation to understand what has and hasn't worked for GP's when trying to integrate sustainability into the business in this difficult context.
This is a candid, peer-led conversation that will use small groups to explore learnings and challenges on how our sustainability approach evolves to meet the new pressures.
Due to small event capacity and to keep the discussion rich, this event is open to GP's only.
What you'll leave with
A few practical models for embedding sustainability into existing processes
Peer-tested ways through the blockers you actually face
A small group of GP peers wrestling with the same questions you are
