Pitch Your Partner is a 90-minute business networking session where you don't pitch yourself. You pitch someone else, and someone pitches you. You'll meet a partner, learn their business, and then write a three-minute pitch for them. They do the same for you.
Before any of that happens, we walk the whole room through the 3 Minutes Pitch framework together. So nobody is winging it and nobody is performing under pressure before they're ready.
If you're someone who does their best thinking with a little space and time or on your feet, this session is built for both.
When you register you'll fill out a short form about your business - two or three sentences about what you do and who you do it for. This gives you time to make sure you're bringing the best of your business so your partner can bring their best pitch about you.
Then you get real writing time. Actual quiet minutes to shape your pitch before anyone has to say a word out loud.
Here's where it gets interesting.
After everyone has written their pitch, we ask one question: who wrote something they can't wait to say out loud? The people who are excited about what they wrote take the stage, deliver their pitch live to the whole room, and compete for a prize voted on by everyone in it.
Everyone else drops their pitch in the comments. And those pitches don't disappear - with permission from the business being pitched, we share them on The Good Gather's social channels.
So whether you're on the stage or in the comments, your partner's business gets seen. And yours gets pitched by someone who actually believes in it.
