​Following the success of Future of Speed — Japan's first Motorsport × Technology summit, held at Google for Startups Shibuya in May 2026 — we return with something more intimate, and considerably more scenic.

​Fuji Classic Golf Club is widely regarded as one of the finest courses in Asia. Designed by renowned architect Desmond Muirhead and inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, each of its 18 holes is a living artwork — set at 1,200 metres elevation, with an unobstructed view of Fuji-san from every fairway. There is no backdrop quite like it.

​This is not a conference. There are no panels, no slides, no lanyards.

​The Format

​32 guests. 8 groups of 4. One day at the base of Fuji.

​Each team is intentionally composed — half its players drawn from motorsport, half from technology and adjacent industries. The tournament format puts people together who would not normally share a fairway, and gives them 18 holes to figure out what they have in common.

​The day begins at 8:30 AM with a welcome reception at the clubhouse. Rounds run through the morning and afternoon, with a lunch and after party set served after the sessions. Play concludes by 3:30 PM.

​Attendance is by invitation only and capped at 32 people.

​*Note: If you require rental clubs, an additional 5,000 JPY fee applies, payable separately at the golf course. Golf balls and gloves are also available for purchase at the pro shop.

​What happens after that is yours. Fuji Classic has a clubhouse bath with a direct view of the mountain. Kawaguchiko has restaurants, bars, and a lake that catches the last light. Some of the best conversations from the first Future of Speed happened after the programme ended — we expect no different here.

​4:00 PM Late lunch featuring the Fuji Classic lunch set in the clubhouse's private dining room, with seating organized by tee-off groups. The afternoon will conclude with an award ceremony and networking.

​Logistics

​🚌 Approx. 2 hours from Tokyo — Shinjuku → Kawaguchiko by highway bus, then a short taxi to the course
