Dealing With Uncertainty: How to Stay Calm When You Don't Know What's Next
Missed this event?
Here's the recording of the live event for you
Ever wish you could just know what happens next?
Will this work out?
What if things don't go as planned?
Am I making the right decision?
What if something changes?
A lot of our mental energy can go into trying to answer questions that simply don't have answers yet.
Whether it's work, relationships, health, finances, family or the future, not knowing what's next can feel deeply uncomfortable.
We may overthink every possibility. Try to plan for every outcome. Replay decisions. Or find ourselves worrying about things we can't actually control.
But what if feeling calmer didn't require having all the answers?
That's why as a World Mental Health Day Special, we’re bringing you a free wellness session: Dealing with Uncertainty: How to Stay Calm When You Don’t Know What’s Next
Join Sakshi Joshi, Counselling Psychologist, for a practical conversation about why uncertainty affects us the way it does—and how we can navigate our thoughts and emotions when life doesn't give us the certainty we'd like.

Overthink situations when you don't know how they'll turn out
Feel anxious when plans suddenly change
Spend a lot of energy preparing for every possible outcome
Find yourself stuck on things outside your control
Struggle with the ambiguity that comes with work, relationships or major life decisions
Simply want healthier ways to navigate uncertainty
You don't need to be going through a major crisis to benefit. Uncertainty is part of everyday life.
🌿 Why this conversation matters
We often think: “Once I know what happens, I'll feel better.”
But life rarely gives us complete certainty.
A new job. A difficult conversation. A health concern. An important decision. A relationship. A change at work. Even plans we're excited about can carry an element of “What if?”
If calm depends entirely on knowing what happens next, we're asking life to give us something it often can't.
Learning to recognise what is within our control, what isn't, and how to regulate ourselves in that space between the two can help us develop a different relationship with uncertainty—the core themes Sakshi will explore during the session.
