Higher Ed & The National Code: Fix systems not people

​From January 2027, every TEQSA registered provider outside the university sector has to meet the National Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence. As of August, only one of the 94 providers we checked has a visible plan in place.

​This is the second session in our National Code education series. We opened with Consent Labs on the student education side. This time, we're looking at the organisational side: what it actually takes to build lasting change, not just a policy on paper.

​Our host & Capyble Co-Founder Mikhara Ramsing sits down with Fee Mozeley, Project Manager for the Athena Swan accreditation program at Science in Australia Gender Equity (SAGE), whose gender-based violence community of practice is the most attended in SAGE's network, with representation from every subscribing university.
