I’m Cephas, founder of FOMO — a media and event company with over 20K weekly readers, making us the go-to place to connect with Berlin and Munich’s business and tech scene. Our mission? Connecting amazing people and creating unforgettable experiences.

We’re aiming to create truly FOMO-worthy moments in Cape Town, and our go-to tool for achieving this is our WhatsApp Group.
In just 2 years, the FOMO Cape Town WhatsApp group has grown from 150 members to 1,024 (the max WhatsApp allows), with 200+ on the waitlist. It’s was last year THE place to be if you’re spending your season in Cape Town.
We use the group for everything: finding apartments & roomies, discovering new restaurants, sharing insider tips, reselling festival tickets, and most importantly, building safety, trust, and real connections in a new city.
And for next season we aim to improve the experience even more!

This ensures only the real Cape Town crew joins (not just those catching FOMO from afar 😉), while giving us the resources to keep the vibe high and the experience next-level.
