$10,000 Existential Hope Meme Prize: submission deadline
We're giving $10,000 for the best short-form media that shows a hopeful, scientifically grounded future.
There are plenty of dystopias among our cultural references: P(doom), Black Mirror, Ready Player One. Our collective imagination needs more positive futures: concrete, hopeful references we can actually aim for and build. So we ask you to show us a realistic future you’d be excited to live in, in whatever short, shareable form fits you: a meme, a short video, an infographic, a thread.
The essentials:
Post your piece publicly on any platform, optionally tagging #xhopememeprize
Submit it by November 1st
Enter as many times as you like, registering each one separately
AI tools are allowed, and it's open to anyone worldwide
The best entry wins $10,000. Submit here: https://www.existentialhope.com/existential-hope-meme-prize
