​Sequoyah has been at this longer than most of us, and it does the thing plenty of schools assume you cannot do.

​Eight Habits of Mind run from kindergarten through grade 12, and all 56 seniors build a Mastery Learning Record alongside their traditional grades, not instead of them. It started as a seven-student pilot. It is now a senior seminar graduation requirement, with every senior uploading at least six pieces of evidence.

​If you have been told you must choose between the transcript colleges expect and a record that shows what a student can actually do, spend a day in Pasadena with a school that refused the choice.

​The first half of the day belongs to Sequoyah. You'll be in conversation with their students, teachers, and school leaders in the learning spaces where the model actually runs, with nobody steering it.

​The afternoon is yours. We break into smaller working sessions on the parts of the mastery journey you care about most, from assessment and credentialing to implementation and faculty adoption. Bring the problem you're stuck on and find the person who has already solved it.

​75 people, 9:00am to 3:30pm.

​Member schools get two free tickets, with the code in your invitation email. Everyone else pays $50, so bring a school that belongs in the Consortium.
