​This is real and it's hard.

​If you're building something in the charter cities, autonomous zones, or governance innovation space, you're doing one of the most challenging things out there. You're navigating unproven models, complex politics, financing gaps, and constant skepticism.

​We're gathering a small group of actual builders—people with skin in the game—to learn from each other. To share war stories. To solve problems together. To move this whole thing forward as a community.

​The Point

​No pitches. No grandstanding. No premature announcements. Just builders who've been at it, people who are just starting, and people who want to understand what's actually possible.

​This is where you learn what works, what doesn't, and what you'd have done differently.

​Who We're Looking For

​Founders and operators building charter cities, autonomous zones, startup countries, governance infrastructure, institutional innovation, regulatory tech, or allied verticals. People serious about the work—who've already moved capital, made decisions, and live with the consequences.

​Real founders only. Whatever that ends up meaning to us.

​Agenda details for Founders Retreat

​March 26-27:

​Participate in the Liberty & Acceleration Zones Summit. We will designate a table for at least 1 meal/day during the main event so participants (primarily zone founders) can get to know each other during the week. We invite both our "novices" newer to the space, and our "veterans" many of whom have been here for 10+ years to join. Each meal will also have a discussion topic about a key part of founding a zone.

​March 28:

• ​9-10:30am: Breakfast & introductions - participants (novices & veterans) will briefly present their experience/role in the ecosystem for 1-5 minutes so we're all fresh on it.

• ​10:30 - 1pm: Veteran panels discussing key topics of interest for city founders (working with govts; fundraising; building an economic engine; etc)

• ​1pm-2pm: Veteran panels continue over lunch.

• ​2pm-5pm: Office hours & networking - this is your chance to get free consulting from any/all present on your challenges & questions about your zone startup, listen and learn from other founders' conversations, explore parternships, etc.

• ​6pm+: Fun evening event - details TBD
