Beyond the price of gold: Unlocking the holistic value in your jewellery box
Discover the hidden stories and untapped potential in your family treasures:
Two truths about your jewellery box
Precious minerals like gold, diamonds, and gemstones are inherently durable and will never end up as waste.
Yet a wealth of these beautiful, valuable resources currently sits untapped in dark jewellery boxes around the world.
As precious metal prices continue their upward trajectory, now is the perfect time to explore how to best leverage these family treasures. But here's what most people miss: the true value often lies beyond the gold price.
What you'll discover
In this masterclass, we'll explore the comprehensive and holistic value residing in your family's jewellery collection:
Beyond the numbers
Move past the quantifiable worth of components (gold, silver, platinum)
Look beyond the 4Cs of diamonds (Carat, Cut, Colour, Clarity)
Discover the non-transferable worth that often far exceeds material cost
The power of provenance
How a piece's age, style, and designer multiply its value
Understanding historical connections that transform ordinary into extraordinary
Real examples: Like Elizabeth Taylor's La Peregrina pearl that sold for $11.8 million
Practical wisdom
Best practices for jewellery care and preservation
Strategies to maximise long-term value
When to keep, when to sell, when to reimagine
Resources for proper valuation and authentication
