🌸 Periods with Pride 2026
Empower Her Health | Restore Her Dignity
🌼 About the Initiative
This Sunday, 3rd May 2026, Sanskriti Youth Foundation is organising a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness & Sanitary Pads Distribution Drive at our adopted community cluster in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi.
This initiative is part of our ongoing monthly outreach program, where we ensure that women and adolescent girls from economically vulnerable backgrounds receive sanitary pads covering one month’s needs, along with essential health education.
Menstrual hygiene continues to be a critical yet under-addressed public health challenge. Lack of access, misinformation, and societal taboos often lead to infections, missed school/work days, and reduced confidence.
Through this drive, we aim to bridge both access and awareness, ensuring that menstrual dignity is treated as a basic human right, not a privilege.
