Seaside Events and Experiences Calendar

The Shipyards Skate Plaza is the region's largest outdoor skating rink. The rink is located on the waterfront at The Shipyards, and is set against the beautiful backdrop of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains.

During the season, the Skate Plaza offers daily skating, along with free helmets and skate aids. As an exclusive perk for our guests, we offer complimentary skate rentals when you reserve through the Seaside Hotel.

Skate Plaza Operations & Ice Cleaning Schedule
Skate Plaza closes for ice cleaning at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. daily for approximately 30 minutes..
Skate Plaza may close unexpectedly due to weather or for repairs/maintenance.
Skate rentals close at 7:30 pm daily.
