Fractal Boston @ MIT Future Fest
Fractal Boston is not affiliated with MIT or MIT Future Fest. Fractal Boston is a local community of "warm, ambitious nerds" who like to gather regularly and live a better life surrounded by friends. Join us!
On Friday, October 2nd, let's explore the MIT Future Fest together!
MIT Future Fest is a five-day annual festival that opens the Institute’s doors to the world.
Across open laboratories, public talks, immersive exhibitions and evening performances, the festival offers an unprecedented invitation to the research, ideas, and people sharing the next era of science, technology, and human understanding.
There are many different events happening throughout the day. Feel free to come and go as your interest and schedule allows.
Here's my current plan:
9-10 AM - MIT Campus Public Art Walk, List Visual Arts Center
10 AM-12 PM - Future Lab: CSAIL, 32 Vassar St
12-12:45 PM - Grab food nearby and eat in Hockfield Court
1:00-1:45 PM - What Happened to Liberal Democracy? MIT Museum
2:15-2:45 PM - Dreaming Together, MIT Museum
3:30-4:30 PM - AI and the Creative Imagination, MIT Media Lab
4:30-5:45 PM - Dinner at Alice, 238 Main St
6:00-8:00 - Artificial Intimacy, MIT Museum OR The Weavers performance

While I envision many of us attending the same exhibits or sessions together, gathering for lunch and dinner will also give us an opportunity to share how we're enjoying the event and get to know each other better.
Interested in attending the dinner at Alice? Please RSVP here so I can make a proper reservation: https://tally.so/r/obJyNe
