Before I was a DJ, I made a soundtrack for my international student cohort in college. It became an anthem—passed down to each new class with a slideshow that outlived my time there.
That led to my first music video: Remember San Francisco.
Then something unexpected happened. I met a random kid from the UK at the gym. He had Nigerian friends who'd go on to become Life of Dillon—but before that, he was producing for LMarshall. We made a demo. It got popular in Ireland. Semi-finalist, Youbloom Music Awards.
This thing I was doing every once in a while? It kept paying off in ways I couldn't predict.
So I took to the streets to write more songs. Met my bandmate the second time I went out. We became Bisi & The Moonwalker.
2016 — DIY Music Conference. An idea: What if we took all these artists I was meeting from 45 countries and built a touring network?
2017 — TAKE ME BACK Tour with Brian Allison and Sara Quah. 12 shows. 11 days.
2018 — Started an immersive studio education program for kids.
2019 — Take Me Back Tour II.
2020 — Finished The Church of Experience.
I've been writing and producing ever since.
