Logos Accra Circle – Financial Resilience & Scam Awareness

​Over the past few months, the Logos Ghana Circle has explored digital literacy, online safety, digital identity, and responsible participation in the digital world. In our previous session, we took the next step by exploring financial literacy, budgeting, saving, responsible investing, and financial scams.

​This month, we move from learning to community action.

​Young people are increasingly using digital platforms for banking, payments, remote work, investments, and Web3 opportunities. While these tools create new opportunities, they also expose people to financial scams, fraudulent investment schemes, fake job opportunities, and other forms of digital financial fraud.

​This event will focus on Financial Resilience & Scam Awareness, equipping participants with practical knowledge they can share with others in their communities.

​Together, we will explore how to make smarter financial decisions, recognize common financial scams, and build habits that support long-term financial resilience.

​The session will also introduce a community outreach initiative through which Circle members will take these lessons beyond the Circle and share financial literacy and scam-awareness education with a defined group of young people in the wider community.
