[Free women only hike]: Gorge Walk · Maisinger Schlucht Loop

​A surprisingly wild escape just 30 minutes from Munich, through the Maisinger Schlucht, a shadowy gorge carved by the Maisinger Bach through ancient Nagelfluh rock, looping around the serene Maisinger See nature reserve. Lush, cool and shaded even on hot summer days, this is the perfect warm weather trail. A proper nature reset without needing the whole day. 🌿

​Distance: ~11.5 km · Elevation: ~230 m · Time: 3 to 3.5 h · Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Flat gorge section with some moderate climbs on the loop. 🥾

​To ensure everyone has a great day, the hike will start promptly at the scheduled time. As the group will be moving together from the meeting points, we kindly ask that you plan your journey to arrive accordingly, as we aren't able to hold the start for late arrivals. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping the day on track!

​Logistics: Group size capped at 15, please sign up.

​Meeting option 1: At München Hauptbahnhof Nord, SEV. Please arrive by 8:55am to board the 9:05am SEV. Meeting option 2: At Starnberg station on arrival at around 10:05am. Return: Aiming to be back at Starnberg station by around 14:00, arriving back in Munich by around 15:00.

​What to bring: Comfortable trainers or hiking shoes. Packed picnic lunch, snacks and at least 1.5L of water. Insect repellent (the gorge is mossy and shaded). Sunscreen. 🧺

​Cost: Free. You only pay for your public transport. Bayern Ticket recommended for groups.
