About Event

Some of the most meaningful moments happen around a shared table, with something warm in your hands and nowhere else to be.

Drawing inspiration from the art of gong fu cha, the centuries-old Chinese tradition of brewing and tasting tea, we'll gather for soulful conversation, community, and a gentle introduction to mindfulness in everyday life. Together, we'll slow down, notice the leaves unfurl, and savor the subtle shifts from one pour to the next.

Because sometimes a shared cup of tea is all it takes to return to ourselves and find a soft place to land together.

What to Expect

  • An introduction to the history and culture of tea and the gong fu cha tradition

  • A guided tasting of loose leaf teas including green, oolong, and black teas

  • A sensory mindful experience where color, aroma, warmth, and taste become the practice of paying attention

  • Hands-on brewing where slowing down and noticing becomes the meditation

  • Soulful, open conversation about mindfulness, compassion, and how we take care of ourselves and each other

  • Warm community and genuine connection over a shared cup

What to Bring

  • Yourself and a willingness to slow down

  • Comfortable clothes

  • An open curiosity, no tea experience needed
