​📦 WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?

​​​F*ck the Small Talk is a one-of-a-kind social experience where strangers come together for an evening of meaningful, fun, and deep conversation. It’s also just a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk!

​​​Join us for an evening of games, talks, and connections with friends you haven’t met yet. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you have been in Lausanne every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life then this is the place for you. 🙌

​📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?

​We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few light-hearted group games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups and start with the conversation rounds (with 3 people).

​We'll have our awesome question cards that will guide the flow of the conversation. (You’ll never have to speak in public if you don’t want) You'll be guided by an experienced host who'll make sure everything goes smoothly. 🍭 (introverts, you'll love it too ❤️)

​Our events are limited to 30 guests to ensure a cozy atmosphere. (more than that is a party!) We do our best to curate events with similar ages and a healthy gender balance! Request to join above and we'll give you an answer in less than 48 hours! Our events tend to sell out quickly, if you didn't get in make sure to try again next time!

​👋 MEET YOUR HOST

​I'm Aliénor, originally French yet a true citizen of the world having lived in 9 countries and travelled to over 35! As a facilitator of transformation, I blend my passion for holistic well-being, travels, spirituality & yoga, events, hospitality and coaching to create bespoke experiences that help people connect, grow and expand in the most aligned way. You’ll usually find me dancing salsa/bachata, cooking heartwarming meals, traveling or going deeper into personal growth/consciousness topics. Spending time with people who elevate my soul is my best cure in life.

​I am happy to bring the first FTST in Lausanne and I can't wait to see you there!

🤓 QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

​‣ Can I come alone?
Of course, in fact, we encourage it! 99% of people do.

​‣ Can I be late?
Please don't. We start 15 min after the official start. Late arrivals tend to disrupt the flow of the event. Don't let Germany down!

​‣ Is this a dating or networking event?
Not at all! No business cards, no awkward 1-minute speed rounds —just real, meaningful conversations with some friends you haven't met yet. (this doesn't mean crushes or business relationships can't happen, it's just not the intention 🙌)

‣ Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or ticket transfers to another event date. However, feel free to pass on your ticket to a trusted friend, provided they also sign up on Luma :)
