Liberty + Leadership Program Information & Recruitment Event

​Liberty + Leadership (L+L) is the MEI's youth program that caters to young Canadians interested in public policy and adjacent areas. The program involves an annual one-week seminar in Montreal, a paid internship program, a mentorship program, and exposure to the MEI's network including our alumni network through on-going events nation-wide. Annually, the program welcomes 50 talented young leaders from literally across Canada, Newfoundland to Vancouver Island, fully half of whom are young women. 

​​This event is put on by the MEI and Society of Undergraduates in Economics (SUE).

​The MEI is an independent public policy think tank with offices in Montreal, Calgary, and Ottawa. Through its publications, media appearances, and free advisory services offered equally to all policymakers, the MEI has been stimulating public policy debate and reforms based on established principles of market economics for more than a quarter century.

​SUE serves the academic and career goals of UCalgary students by creating an open and accessible community within the economics department.
