Holotropic Research with Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Rapp
Our fellow facilitator colleague Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Rapp will present the ongoing online research study "Acute Effects of Breathwork", a research initiative by the Humboldt University Berlin and the University of Potsdam together with the German Center for Mental Health. The online survey is studying the effects of different types of breathwork, including holotropic breathwork.
The aim of this survey is to gain a better understanding of the effects you notice during or after a breathwork session involving active, intensified or accelerated breathing, for example, effects on your well-being, bodily sensations, and emotions. By participating, you contribute to improving the assessment of breathwork safety and to understanding how such experiences are processed.

Michaels talk is an invitation to deepen your understanding of Holotropic Breathwork research and learn more about the background of the study. As Holotropic research is still very limited, we very much hope that you will participate in this conversation and support the distribution of the study among Holotropic Breathwork participants.
WHO is invited:
Organizers of Holotropic Breathwork workshops and modules across schools
Holotropic Breathwork Facilitators who are interested in learning more and deepening their understanding about research.
If you have not yet participated in the study yourself, you are invited to do so before joining the conversation.
