About Event

Every transition comes with a messy in-between stage. In the words of Hermina Ibarra, an INSEAD professor who studied career change over many years, it is the time when "we try on the “possible selves” we might become".

While this phase often feels disorienting, it is not merely something to endure - it's the essential crucible of transformation. And thankfully, this stage is comes with greater availability of intuition, wisdom and an openness to a journey towards authentic self. In our culture this stage is often what we hide, but we can really benefit from it when we explore it in collaboration with others who are walking their own paths. In this workshop we will open it up in a way that feels comfortable.

In this session I will offer a brief introduction and then a guided individual exercise that we'll do on a virtual board with a voluntary group sharing of insights as we go.

Outcomes:

  • A greater sense of clarity about own change

  • Increased self-trust and openness

  • Feeling more resourced.

Intended For Those:

  • Considering or recently making a career change

  • Navigating job loss or restructuring

  • Feeling stuck between what was and what could be.

This workshop is the second in the series of 3. See other offerings on my page www.juliakarmo.com/offscript. The group size is limited to 10. The normal price is 25 EUR, however, if you are currently unemployed or struggling financially, feel free to choose the free option or a lower fee.
