Climate Designers Art & Teaching Garden Day

​Join Climate Designers Bay Area for our first event of the year! Meet up for an afternoon of art and learning with a focus on ecology in the public sphere at Fort Mason.

​We will start by attending a free workshop Plantcestor Allies: Healing With Rosemary at 1pm with John Bela of Hummingbird Farm at the pop up installation entitled Garden To Transform Hatred Into Love. Information on the workshops are here, and it REQUIRES REGISTRATION HERE, where you must choose the workshop at 1pm on March 10th. Signing up for this event does not register you for the workshop.

​Around 2pm we'll go next door to check out the closing day of the Bonnie Ora Sherk exhibition. Sherk is a local Bay Area artist who recently passed, and is known for reclaiming unused public spaces and transforming them into thriving art gardens and opportunities for educational community programs.

​From 3pm on we can mingle at the Interval at the Long Now and enjoy some coffee or cocktails.
